Harold Darkfury is the second-born child of the four Darkfury siblings. A man of action, he's seen combat and violence more times than he cares for - particularly as a member of the covert operations squad codenamed "Virus" alongside his former brother-in-law-to-be Max Ford IV amongst others.

Newly retired from combat, however, Harold looked forward to the new peace promised to his life by the introduction of wholesome school teacher Ashley DeCiantis to it until the day of the McGruder High School Bombing - an ugly event that triggered the basis for Harold's deadly war-time persona "Sergeant X" to make an equally bloody resurgergence in New York City against The Chain Gang.
